Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy outlines the cancellation, refund, and payment terms applicable to users on the meetmate platform.
Currently, in Phase 1, meetmate operates as a free connection and discovery platform. We do not collect payments, charge listing fees, or process financial transactions. Consequently, no refunds or fee cancellations are applicable at this time.
1.Current Phase 1 Free Usage Terms
All account creations, project listings, profile verifications, and candidate proposals are completely free of charge. Users are free to terminate their accounts or withdraw project listings at any time without financial penalty.
2.Future Phase 2 Commercial Terms (Framework)
When meetmate introduces paid features (such as premium listing upgrades, featured verified badges, or marketplace milestone escrow), the following cancellation and refund framework will govern transactions:
A. Subscription & Premium Upgrade Cancellations
Users will be able to cancel recurring subscriptions at any time via account settings. Cancellation will prevent future renewal charges, and access will continue until the end of the billing period.
B. Milestone & Project Escrow Cancellations
If a project is cancelled by mutual agreement before work commences, the funded milestone amount will be refunded in full to the client's original payment method within 5-7 business days.
C. Dispute Resolution and Partial Refunds
In the event of milestone disputes regarding incomplete or unsatisfactory deliverables, meetmate's dispute resolution desk will review submissions and issue full or partial refunds based on verified milestones.
3.Refund Processing Method & Timelines
When authorized, all refunds will be processed back to the original source of payment (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI) via our authorized payment gateway (Razorpay).
- UPI & Net Banking Refunds: Typically reflected within 2-4 business days.
- Credit/Debit Card Refunds: Typically reflected within 5-7 business days, subject to issuing bank processing times.
